Many years ago, Dr. Snapir worked in a photo printing shop. During these days, he’d often get a chance to talk with doctors and surgeons who came in with educational samples of their work. These encounters were what first sparked his dream of becoming a doctor!
As his passion for medicine grew over time, Dr. Snapir began to explore possible career options based on where society had the greatest needs. This line of thinking led him to dentistry, and it’s not hard to understand why. Oral health gets overlooked all too often, but many people avoid dental care altogether because of anxiety and fear. This can lead to serious health problems that affect not just the teeth, but the entire body. By becoming a dentist, he knew that he could serve as the first line of defense for his patients, helping them not only alleviate long-term problems, but also prevent disease from ever taking root in the first place.
Dr. Snapir attended UCLA for his dental doctorate. Since then, he has eagerly pursued continuing education in a number of facets of dentistry, including dental implants, orthodontics, and full mouth rehabilitation. By expanding his clinical skillset, he’s been able to develop comprehensive approaches to dental problems that involve multi-specialty solutions and treatments.
Away from work, Dr. Snapir has a beautiful family that includes his amazing wife and two children. They inspire him to wake up every morning with boundless energy! In his spare time, you can often find him exercising, reading, traveling, trying new foods, or playing with his kids.
