Digital X-Rays
In the past, dentists used film X-rays that took awhile to develop, relied on chemicals that were toxic for the environment, and had moderately high radiation exposure. Today, our team utilizes all-digital X-rays that are safer, faster, and clearer, helping us provide you with accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. They reduce radiation exposure by up to 90% as well, making them very safe. They also aren’t as grainy, allowing us to easily see dental infections and other problems hidden below the gums.
Intraoral Camera
Some oral health problems, like cavities between the teeth, are practically impossible to see with the naked eye, even for a trained professional. That’s why we use our intraoral camera to conduct even more thorough inspections of your teeth and gums when you visit us. This hand-held device is small and can easily fit into your mouth to provide our professionals with a clear, magnified view of an area. The footage appears on a chairside monitor that allows us to show you exactly what problem we’re looking at and explain how a certain treatment can help solve it.
CT/Cone Beam Scanner
Advanced treatments like orthodontics and dental implants require in-depth planning to ensure beautiful results. We utilize our CT/cone beam scanner to help us create treatments that are exact and detailed. This machine allows us to capture a panoramic, 3D view of your mouth, jawbone, and soft tissues. The process of capturing the image is also fast and completely pain-free, allowing us to get a complete evaluation of your facial structure without making you uncomfortable.
Digital Impression System
Traditionally, taking dental impressions for customized nightguards or sportsguards means completely drying your mouth and having a piece of gag-inducing putty placed in it. At OraBell Dental Implant Centers, we utilize our advanced digital impression system to capture an accurate blueprint of your dental structure. It’s fast, effective, and more accurate than putty impressions, allowing us to create more comfortable oral appliances.
